We now have flu shots for all children 6 months and older
If someone in your family has an appointment before the end of the flu season, we will give the flu vaccine then and would like you to bring all of your children who are patients for their flu vaccine at that time.  If no one has an appointment before then, please call extension 4 to schedule a flu clinic appointment.   All kids under 9 who are receiving the flu vaccine for the first time, or who received flu vaccine for the first time ever last year and only received one dose, may need a booster dose at least 28 days after the first dose of the flu vaccine.

AAP recommendation on live intranasal influenza vaccine - The AAP/ACIP state "Health care providers should not use live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) in the upcoming 2017-'18 season due to poor effectiveness", a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) committee said Wednesday. Based on this recommendation, we will not be giving FluMist this year.

Important information about the insurance plans we will accept in 2017

Determining health care benefits and coverage is very complicated.  It is best to verify your coverage by reviewing your plan’s benefit book or contacting your plan’s customer service department for details on:

  • Eligibility
  • Member’s financial responsibility:  deductible, co-pay and co-insurance
  • Plan’s policy for referrals, prior-authorization or precertification
  • Covered and non-covered services
  • Network status of providers

Please be sure to call your insurance company before making an appointment to confirm that the provider is covered by your plan.  At this time, we know that we will NO LONGER be in network for Individual Exchange Policies (as of January 1, 2017).  We also will not accept public aid.

Please note, insurance plans are subject to change. Please call the member services phone number on your insurance card to verify if your plan is part of our network.
